Ida C.M.F

Ida C. M. Fisker works with tactility, repetitive making and the mundane magic of unseen labour. This feeds her practice of witchcraft and fem and non-binary storytelling across time. Making is a power move, even when the power is soft and slow. 

Her works are a way for her to draw upon her two main musses/energies called The Strange and the Known, these two manifests physically and spiritually in her work and is the base that she researches and creates upon. 

As the body walks through the world blurring at the edges leaving itself behind and receiving at an equal pace, it senses the spiral that appears in light every time it steps, the spiral that extends from its belly button as an umbilical cord. The osmosis extends forward as the body walks through an archway, the promise of change upon it.
